There is an increasing concern over the safety and confidentiality of customer information. The role of an organization is to prevent the exposure of customer data to unintended parties and ensure that ethical principles are applied when handling customer data. HR managers play a significant role in ensuring that employees comply with ethical practices that safeguard the sharing of patient data by employees in an organization (Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), 2014). HR professionals ensure that there is trust at all levels within an organization. Understanding the importance of ethics is in HR in the Green Branch Coffee is crucial because it ensures that the company remains on the right side of the law, safeguards the company’s reputation, keeps employees loyal, and promotes an ethics program.

Professional Responsibility of HR profession

HR professionals have the responsibility to add value to the company’s they work in and contribute to its ethical success. Moreover, HR managers are accountable for the consequences of their actions (Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), 2014). They play a significant role in advocating in the profession by participating in activities that promote its values. HR professionals are responsible for enhancing respect credibility in the organizations, community, and the community they work.

In addition, the HR professionals have a responsibility to assist the organizations they serve to reach their goals and objectives by ensuring that ethical practices such as adequate compensation, respect to customer data, and adherence to data compliance policies are maintained and upheld at all levels. Their role is to work with employees in the implementation of ethical practices. They train and educate future and current practitioners

about the essential principles and procedures for the profession (Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), 2014). They positively influence recruitment practices and ensure accountability in the hiring process and that only suitable candidates are hired in the organization. HR professionals play a significant role in encouraging professional decision- making and encouraging social responsibility.

What it means to include fairness and justice in the HR profession

HR professionals play a significant role in upholding and updating policy and procedures within an organization to ensure that employees comply with the policies and ethical principles safeguarding the rights of a customer. In doing so, HR professionals promote fairness and justice to all employees. HR professionals must respect the individuality of every worker to enable the employees to find fulfillment and accomplishment in their work. HR professionals should treat their subjects with respect and without discrimination to promote a favorable working environment for the employees (Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), 2014). HR professionals should ensure that all employees have equal opportunities to grow professionally. When employees acquire more education and training, they enhance their skills and become more competent. Lastly, HR professionals ensure fairness and justice by complying with legal and ethical procedures to avoid issues of lawsuits from unfair judgments.

How HR professionals can manage an organizational information

HR professionals are responsible for building trust among all workers and the organization’s constituents. They protected the right of individuals in the gathering and sharing of data while ensuring truthful communication and informed decision-making. They also eliminate anxiety about inappropriate acquisition and sharing of information (Society for

Human Resource Management (SHRM), 2014). The HR professionals can manage information by gathering and sharing information through ethical means, ensure only appropriate information is used in the decision-making process, investigate the accuracy and source of information, maintain accurate information, and safeguard restricted information.

Conclusion

The information contained in this report helps promote ethics in the organization and ensures that HR professionals understand their roles in fostering ethical practices in an organization.
