They were not with their normal pears, teacher or in their normal classroom. They were not using the normal RE books & I didn’t have a set of lolly sticks for the specific children nor did they have the normal class talk partners.

School values can help pupils understand right from wrong and they can also help to shape the mindsets and behaviour of future adults (please find a reference to back this up) I used props for the children to give the children a visual to try and imagine what 85 meters would really be like. Due to the lessons I talked beforehand the children had good prior knowledge of advent and what the lesson was going to be about.
