Probability and why this was selected INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT 1 MGMT 8370 SEC 3 & 9 PROF SHAILA ARNAHA 2 SCOPE STATEMENT It is October 5th, 2020 and you are a member of the Conestoga College Students Incorporated (“CSI”), responsible for planning a College-wide talent show to celebrate the end of the COVID-19. CSI is volunteer-led and decided to organize a talent show to showcase the abilities and diversity of staff and students. All proceeds generated by the event will be directed to the student food bank. The goal is to raise $25,000 and collect 1,000 KG of non-perishable food items. Most of the CSI volunteers are turning over as they have graduated. There are a few new members that have 2 more school years before graduation. A new CSI president takes over on August 1st of each year. The fair must be held indoors, but a venue has not yet been secured. The team has completed a preliminary planning meeting and developed an initial scope statement including milestones (see below). During the meeting many risks were identified. Project Objective To organize and deliver a three-hour talent show at Conestoga College Doon Campus at a cost not to exceed $5,000 during the 2nd week of January 2021.
